Those involved in the Human Rights in Healthcare Programme have started to develop some very practical human rights based tools which have been tried and tested and are available for others to use and develop.  You can find these in the a- z list

Case Studies

From 2009 to 2010, four NHS trusts worked with the Department of Health to implement a human rights based approach to an operational area of their work with support from British Institute of Human Rights (BIHR). Exploring what human rights really look like when applied in practice. You can read a summary of each pilot in Case Studies

For a 12 month period from October 2011, four NHS trusts, with support from the Programme Lead and BIHR, will be developing some more very practical human rights based tools which can be used across a range of healthcare. You can read about these in the Case Studies.
